Aaron Preston, PhDAaron Preston, PhD

Associate Professor and Chair of Philosophy, Valparaiso University

Aaron Preston holds a BA (Classics and Philosophy) and a PhD (Philosophy) from the University of Southern California, and an MTh in Systematic Theology from the University of Edinburgh. He has written on the history and nature of Analytic Philosophy, the metaphysics of substance, and on topics at the intersection of Philosophy and Psychology. He is the History of Analytic Philosophy editor for the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy. His current interests focus on connections among moral psychology, moral development and character formation, spiritual formation, and the theological concept of grace.
