Professor of New Testament, Palmer Theological Seminary, Eastern University

Craig S. Keener (Ph.D., Duke University) is Professor of New Testament at Palmer Seminary of Eastern University and author of 15 books and many articles. The books include three commentaries that have won awards in Christianity Today, of which one, The IVP Bible Background Commentary: New Testament, has sold over half a million. His most recently-released book is The Historical Jesus of the Gospels (Eerdmans). Keener is married to Dr. Médine Moussounga Keener, who was a refugee in her own country of Congo, Central Africa.
