David Paul Hunt, PhD
Professor of Philosophy, Whittier College; Talbot School of Theology
Prof. Hunt has received three NEH awards and two fellowships at the Center for Philosophy of Religion at Notre Dame; he has served on the executive councils of the Society of Christian Philosophers and the Philosophy of Time Society. His scholarly articles have appeared in all the major philosophy of religion journals as well as general philosophy journals like Philosophical Studies and American Philosophical Quarterly and specialty journals like Phronesis, Ancient Philosophy, and Medieval Philosophy and Theology. Prof. Hunt’s non-academic interests include film, classical music, novels and history books, and foreign travel. He endeavors to involve students in these vices by incorporating film and fictional literature into appropriate courses and taking student groups to Europe.
