Dru Johnson is a former Senior Research Fellow at The Institute for Advanced Studies—Shalem Center, Jerusalem (2012–13) and currently and co-chairs the "Hebrew Bible and Philosophy" program unit at the Society of Biblical Literature. As a former skinhead, high school fail-out, veteran of counter-narcotics operations in Colombia, I.T. supervisor, and pastor, he currently spends most of his time raising his children to be none of these (except for pastor . . . maybe).
